He did come back at lightweight, and beat Pacquiao and Juan Diaz, instead of Cotto and Williams at welterweight (assuming he would have won against all of those guys)?
You still have an undefeated prospect in Juan Diaz, much like Williams, except that he has accomplished a lot more in the lightweight division than Paul has in the welterweight division, which is not to say that Paul won't accomplish more, but as of now...
Pacquiao is quite a bit more accomplished than Cotto as well... he beat Morales twice, Barrera twice, and drew with Marquez. This is assuming he beats Marquez in his upcoming fight to (I know, there are a lot of what-if's in this scenario, just bear with me).
Would you all downgrade him for beating these two at 135?
