IMO the only thing less likely than Floyd fighting at 135 again is him fighting in a real MMA match. It seems that people are reaching for incredible stories during the boxing drought as the year ends.

I don't care. He can do whatever the hell he wants. My enjoyment of boxing doesn't revolve around Mayweather. I'd watch him fight a lot of guys, and I think he doesn't belong at 147 anyway. He can stay, he can go back down. he can do whatever the hell he wants.

Floyd was 137 1/2 fn vs Chavez, so he makes 140 with his eyes closed. He does look a lot bigger now than he did at 130 and 135, so 135 might be a little tough, but he could do it. Pac, Guzman and then Juan (to give him time to continue to get better) at 135, would be a pretty decent run.

He's coming out with these bull**** proposals (fighting at lightweight, MMA, joining the Village People) as a way of trying to remain in the limelight. unfortunately for Floyd, he will be forgotten all too easily when he finally does disappear; and he hates the thought of that.

makes no difference to me. he may be p4p #1 but i would rather shove a flaming hot poker up my peehole than watch him fight. he is the single most boring boxer i have ever seen. but then again modern boxing is like an episode of the golden girls compared to mma.

If Mayweather is the most boring you have ever seen, then your boxing knowledge is limited as ****.
Obviously you missed Taylor-Spinks and Mayweather-Hatton, because there is no way that you could say Taylor-Spinks was less boring.

I'd lose a little respect, because it does seem like he's ducking Cotto...He knows Cotto is an undefeated star right now, so there's no reason not to fight him if he really wants to fight the best out there unless he sees something in Cotto that he'd have trouble with...on the other hand I'd pay to see Pacman vs. FM anyday.
