I don't see lightweight as offering his best fights, but if that's what he wants I don't see how anyone can complain.
Pacquiao would offer just what Hatton did: a nationalist fanbase that would insist he has a chance. And who wouldn't watch this fight? It would show us yet another side of Floyd, who would have no fear at all of Pac's power. Floyd could make a real exciting yet technically brilliant fight against Pac.Comment

I know, I just thought I would add to this intelligent thread with an equally intelligent post.Comment

Freeze,
Why does the prospect of Floyd fighting guys his own size get people upset?

Did you call Oscar a ***** for fighting Floyd? Or Margarito a ***** for calling out Floyd? Margarito was fighting at JMW when Floyd was at SFW.
PBF is MUCH more evenly matched with Pac, Hatton or Guzman than with Cintron, Margarito or Williams. MUCH.Comment

Imagine that... a boxer having a greater insight on another boxer's strength and capabilities AFTER he's fought him, rather than before.

Maybe the idea is, if you're gonna be a champion in a division, you should fight people IN that division?
Tedious and needless big letters to make my points seem more prudent and important, really making myself look like a ****.Comment
