I have stopped considering opinions from red bar members for a long time ago. FOr some reason they always seem to be either haters or senseless nutjobs. He called out Zu and Oscar when they were in their primes...Oscar and Zu didnt want Floyd at all.
How the **** did he dodge Cotto....he'll fight him.
Margarito???...wasnt Clotey nailing him..and didnt Williams beat him....didint Floyd fight the WW Champion of the World for the same amount of money.Comment

Being the best "boxer" does not mean that you cannot be beaten. Styles make and win/lose fights. There have been some great fighters that lost to lesser fighters throughout the years. Being P4P the best does not mean that Cotto can't beat him. Remember the P4P rating is mythical ranking of skills, longevity, and opposition. Real ratings within the weight class are a whole different thing. Mayweather may be ranked 1 or 2 as the best P4P boxer and may have the prettiest boxing style, but that has nothing to do with his real ranking in the Welterwieght class. These rankings are determined on who you've fought, beaten and how you beat them. Nothing mythical about that. Straight facts.Floyd Mayweather without a doubt is the best in this sport at the moment. I mean, it's true that he dodged Tszyu, and didn't fight a prime Oscar, and yes, dodged Cotto and Margarito, but let's be real, talent-wise he's extremely good, most people hate him because of his attitude but hey, nobody can be perfect. His hit and not get hit technique is remarkable.Comment

Yes you are right. P4P lists should have some requisites, like for instance, having fought in at least 3 divisions or something like that. But let's be honest. Cotto hits REALLY hard, to the body and to the head, applies good pressure and cuts the ring remarkably. But he always has his right hand down, leaving himself open to counter rights ALL night long. Floyd would just fight backwards, on the ropes, and just jab jab to the right and win, I doubt Cotto will be able to penetrate Floyds defense, he's just TOO good at it. ANd this is coming from someone that knows Cotto IRL.Being the best "boxer" does not mean that you cannot be beaten. Styles make and win/lose fights. P4P match-ups are mythical match-ups for people that watch too many cartoons. The topic is, who is the best 147 pounder in the world. That is not determined on a mythical ranking. It's determined on what has been accomplished in the 147lbs limit.Comment
