Neither Cotto or Mayweather should be proclaimed as top Welter. They are fairly new to the Welter class to be claiming top dog already. You got Williams, Cintron, Margarito..... I don't know if Floyd or Miguel can get past these guys. These boys have longevity in the weight class. The first one to beat one of those 3 names is the best Welter in my book.

Dude, be honest with yourself. Zab Judah is a mediocre. Those low blows, ONE of them was intentional, the other wasn't, and Zab was so jumpy and scared of the body shots ( which by the way COtto could only put like 4 or 5 in the body thru the whole fight ) that he always kinda jumped and made the body shots go low or to the belt. Be honest with yourself, WITHOUT lowblos, cotto would have still owned him. ANybody can beat zab, even quintana im sure. HE SUCKS.

Floyd Mayweather without a doubt is the best in this sport at the moment. I mean, it's true that he dodged Tszyu, and didn't fight a prime Oscar, and yes, dodged Cotto and Margarito, but let's be real, talent-wise he's extremely good, most people hate him because of his attitude but hey, nobody can be perfect. His hit and not get hit technique is remarkable.
