the golden fishnet would have to chop off an arm and a leg to make 144.

A fight with Hatton makes more money and the fight with Cotto makes more sense because of the weight. I think that both Hatton and Cotto pose a real threat to beating Oscar, mainly because of their body work. People who think Oscar will kill Hatton are ridiculous.

hatton's too small. even this 35 year old part-time fighting version of the golden fishnet would beat him badly.

people said hatton had trouble with mayweather's size and how pbf adapted better to welter.

look at mayweather compared to de la fishnet in size.

now picture de la fishnet against hatton.

Hatton would hit Oscar alot easier than he did Mayweather and Oscar wont find Hatton as easy to hit as he might think. Oscar is alot bigger overall, but I think that the reach is closer than with Mayweather and Hatton is faster than Oscar. He showed that he has better skills than people think by hangning with Mayweather even with every possible aspect against him. You dont give Hatton enough credit Im afraid. And if you think about it, Boxing is a business and if Hatton can make them more money than ever before, why not do that fight. Please realize, this is just my opinion and you are entitled to yours as well, and I understand that.

If Hatton and Oscar were in the same division, I'd pick Hatton over Oscar, at this point in their careers (not the 1996 Oscar).

But there is a two division jump in weight for Hatton. And a fighter of Hatton's style tends to not be able to move up in weight as successfully as other rangier fighters.

opinion or not, the possibility that Oscar could beat down Hatton is a very possible one .. im not going to lean towards it, but it wouldn't surprise me

"Hatton would hit Oscar alot easier than he did Mayweather"

okay so what, DLH can hit Hatton easier as well. and over the long run, Hatton's defense wouldn't be good enough, Oscar could tee up on Ricky AT WILL and most likely end the fight within 8 rounds.

"Hatton is faster than Oscar" .. so what, Ricky isn't going to be able to outbox DLH the whole fight, so a speed advantage isn't really tremendously helpful .. plus Hatton has a 65 inch reach ..so he'll have to fight at closer range, and that would play right into DLH's power punching.

Clottey is wise for fighting Cintron instead of Cotto. I thought the Margarito/Judah fight was a done deal, guess not...
