Cintron Orders Steward To Get Him Margarito

You can't have it both ways. When he wanted to fight Williams, people cried he was avoiding Margarito. When he calls for a fight with Margarito, people cry he's avoiding Williams.

IMO, he should beat the guy who blew him out in five before fighting Williams. If he beats Margarito, then a unification with Williams becomes interesting.

Since Kermit fought Estrada and Suarez, he is always asked about the posibility of fighting Margarito again. He always said; "I need a couple of more fights before facing Margarito." He was dead right both times. He was not ready back then. After he killed Mathesse, he called out Mosley since Margarito was expected to beat Paul Williams and Sugar Shane did say many times he wanted to fight a WW Champ. Obviously, Mosley had better plans waiting for a denied chance vs. PBF and he fought Cotto.


The whole ****house went off the roof after his BS fight with Feliciano. Kermit Cintron was injured and asked for more time to fight PW. BUT PW teams said "no" for the obvious reason. They rather fight an "injured" Cintron. It is hard for me to believe that none of you in this forum can't see that. If you people insist to ignore the fact that PW team tried to persuade Cintron to fight before his hand was fully healed, you are just a bunch of morons. Fight was schedlued for the 2nd of February, or the 9th. Kermit wanted to fight on LATE APRIL! I am not a nuthugger. Like I had stated before, I hate Kermit speaking his ass off. He should just shut the **** up. Fight Clottey, if he wins, then fight Margarito and if he wins again then fight PW.


My only real worry is that Kermit's hands and wrists are not going to hold for much longer. He has various surgeries already on his short boxing career. Maybe Kermit was told he has 2-3 fights left after this recent injury. And before he is done due to constant injuries, if KERMIT WANTS TO AVENGE HIS ONLY LOSS. IF THAT IS THE CASE, THEN KERMIT IS DOING THE RIGHT THING BY FIGHTING MARGARITO ASAP.

Then again, I agree with Kermit been su****ious of guilt by not calling PW in the same statements when he called out Cotto couple of days ago. I believe he should do a tune up fight late April and then fight Clottey in Summer. If he wins them both, a fight vs. Margarito to close the year.

Yeah, i just read this. This is not what goosen said in an interview with Ernest Gabion when cintron first got injured.

cintron tried to set up a fight with margarito back in september, well before there were rumblings about a cintron/ williams fight, but showtime was out of money, so that fight was put on hold.

Cintron got injured, pwil didnt want to wait (good idea, since, for some reason, his team wanted to wait 7 months to put a 24 year old fighter back in the ring after he gets a belt), so he moved on and is fighting quintana

cintron, having missed the opportunity to unify with pwil has moved on, as well, and went back to the most obvious oponent, margarito. the guy who handed him his only loss and that he was going to fight in the fall.

For whatever reasons, all you pwil fans are big fans of "everyone is ducking pwil" and it is really annoying.

You're right Arum didn't want Margarito to fight Williams, but Margartito did want to fight Williams and guess what happened? Margarito fought Williams and the real reason why is because the offered Margarito 1.5 million to take the fight and they did against Arums wishs.

Now, if there is again more money in a Williams fight, what you think Margarito will all of a sudden listen to Arum? No, he wont, again he'll follow the money.

And its Williams who wants to move on from Margarito and not fight him again. Not the other way around.

Williams biggest win is over a fighter you called a bum, Margarito. Yet, he's deserving of fighitng all the top guys, lol. You're a hater to the fullest. WIlliams is still a young fighter, remember, still a green fighters, remember, let him beat a few top prospects, contenders then he can be in a postition Margarito was last year.
