    This is my Point

What if before the Hatton Fight, Floyd and Cotto had a sign contract fight... in March

and after the Hatton Fight Floyd says His elbow he hurt and he calls the Cotto Fight OFF...

but weeks later He calls out ODLH for a rematch to prove that split decision should of been a Uniamous Decision....!

    What would you guys say.....??

Well that what Cintron is doing, He is Ducking Williams for a bigger fight with Margarito..!!! And if he wins the Margarito fight
Bets believe he will Only Called out Mayweather and Cotto and COmpletely Ignore Williams

Him amd E.Steward are **** up for what they are doing...!

Avenging his loss to Margarito would go a long way towards improving Cintron's shaky confidence. I think right now is the perfect time to go at Margarito, who was demystified by Paul Williams. Cintron I think was galvanized by having seen Margarito thoroughly dominated. If he makes it through this test, I think he goes to another level and sets up a clash with Paul Williams.

I don't think Margarito NEEDS to give Cintron a rematch. Other than Cotto however, whats he gonna do? Start the second installment with his EPIC trilogy with Golden Johnson? It's a good crossroads rematch. Gotta love that.

Second of all, unanswered questions in this case are, was it the lay off and the distractions or is he at best a good gatekeeper?

It also can get Margarito back into the picture, or out of it. Either is good.

So Kermit's hand is good enough to fight Margarito, who doesn't have a belt, but not good enough to fight Williams, who does?

I agree with the above post though that avenging this loss will do wonders for his self confidence, and prove that Steward has helped him improve.

I still think Margarito KOs him again though, and then the Floyd is ducking Margarito talk will be back in full force.

Cintron might as well just give Margarito that IBF trinket if he signs this fight. It makes good business sense but I doubt Steward would approve of it after the Feliciano disaster of a performance. There's no way for Cintron to get a bigger payday besides Margarito in reality. Cotto nor PBF nor DLH are even looking at Cintron and Williams/Clottey wouldn't bring any money to the table at all so Tony is the best bet for a big money fight. Who knows? Maybe Cintron wants to cash out now or maybe his ego is hurt after Feliciano made him look bad and the backlash he got because of it and wants to prove something against Steward's advice.
All I know is that he's in for another bad beating because Margarito has been seriously pissed since losing his precious to Williams and this will make for a great big fight with Cotto somewhere down the line for unification.

And for that reason I would have to root for Kermit.

Isn't that essentially considered double-posting when they speak? They both regurgitate what the other says. They should be banned for that alone.

Anyway, Cintron needs to man up and fulfill his obligation to fight Williams. If Williams declines, then he can go at Margo. Its not like Margo is going anywhere.
he already did, and Pwil said NO. kerm asked pwil to push their playdate back by a month (which is even before kerms doctor recomended, but kerm just wanted to make the fight), and pwils team said "No, we fight in february, with or without you."

                    here's whats happening:

                    1. Pwil and cintron never had a deal in place, and kerm, by contract law, could not have signed for a fight with williams prior to the feliciano fight. kerms trainers and managers could have signed a bout agreement, but that isnt legally binding and really means ****all when it comes down to it, since it does not involve the fighter, just his team.

                    2. when the injury happened and the doctor gave his diagnosis, cintrons team asked williams to postpone the fight a month - despite doctors recomendation, but williams team said no, we are figthing in feb. with or without you (so as you can see, cintron still wanted that fight),

                    3. Cintron tried setting the fight with margarito up back in september after vargas got sick and his fight with feliciano got postponed, so he is just going back to a plan that was in place before even setting anything up with williams.

                    4. i would assume that, as long as he beats margarito, the fight he wants with cotto would happen in june for the PR day parade, a MEGA FIGHT,

                    5. Cintron called otu all the belt holders, so he isnt ignoring williams,

                    6. everyone wants a shot at mayweather, and right now that road goes through cotto,

                    7. Paul williams called out cotto a couple of weeks ago, before cintron did... does that mean he is ducking cintron!?!?!?!?!?!,

and 8. Cintron doesnt want to fight Margo ASAP, he wants to fight him when his hand is healed, in mid to late spring.

so if williams already rejected cintron, why waste his time going back to him?? avenge your only loss, and then move on to bigger things.

I hope Cintron wins as well because I for a fact know that he has got guts, whether what I think about him as a fighter is different, If he wins he will fight Williams for Unification, but if Margarito wins no way he fights Williams again, Arum was'nt letting the first fight happen but they were forced too since Margarito would have got stripped of his WBO Title as Williams was the #1 Contender + Margarito got payed a lot, Arum was telling Margarito not take that fight but he got paid more.
