Floyd's win over Oscar. If Cotto were able to make 135 without problem, then you'd have an argument.

DLH decided the Ring, Gloves, Weight class and pretty much everything in his favour, and Floyd beat him clearly.

Cotto barely got past Mosley in his hometown, 115-113 was the average score in some peoples opinion, draw as well was the main opinion.

Mosley beat Vargas, who got beaten by Ricardo Mayorga. That does not impress me considering how Oscar destroyed Mayorga and beat Vargas years before when he was actually a better fighter than he is now.

      Excellent Post.

        Oscar De La Hoya

Lost 2 out of his last 4 fights prior to his fight with Mayweather

        Within these last 4 fights...

-Beat Ricardo Mayorga by TKO after inactivity
-Went inactive for almost 2 years
-Lost to Benard Hopkins by KO
-Won a decision against Felix Strum

        Shane Mosley

Won his last 4 fights prior to his fight with Cotto

        Within these last 4 fights...

-Inactivity between each fight was less than a year
-Won a decision over Luis Collazo
-Knocked out Fernando Vargas in both bouts
-Won a decision against Jose Luis Cruz
All it takes to figure this out is plain and basic common sense.

You don't seriously think that Floyd can still make 135? Nevermind without a problem?

Mosley has stayed active and was coming off a win with Collazo.. De La Hoya hasn't accomplished anything significant in the last few years and has been mostly inactive, rusty and overweight.

I think it goes to Cotto's win over Mosley because of this reason..

Both wins are pretty impressive IMO. I can't really pick one since De La Hoya and Mosley have competitive, equal resumes.
