I think Spinks outboxes Cotto in this one to be honest.

Damn, enough talent at 147 without bringing Spinks back into the mix. Can he still make 147 without being too weight drained to be effective? If so, I can see him outboxing Cotto to a decision. Miguel doesn't have enough speed to catch him effectively, imo.

I agree with Gavin though... no reason that Spinks would have moved up unless he had to. He doesn't have enough power to be ****ing around at 154 unless he has to.

I thought this was a past vs. present matchup proposal.

A prime Spinks who could make 147 with no problem, I'd pick him to outbox Cotto.

Funny that everyone is picking against your boy in this one?

My question is, if everyone think Spinks outboxes Cotto, why is it different with Mayweather? Both box and move pretty effectively.

Spinks gives him a boxing lesson IMO. Spinks is just too quick for Cotto. i see Cotto being countered a lot.

Floyd and Spinks are nothing alike.

It Cotto is vulnerable to those fighters that hit and move, then why is Spinks going to walk over Cotto, and Mayweather-Cotto will be a competitive fight?
