What people need to realise is how big a part the venue played. Most of British fans who went to Vegas were using the opportunity for a holiday. Vegas is the kind of place that works well for a 3 day break and many of these fans were going just as much for the weather, ******** and partying as they were for the fight itself.

So I don't think it's just cos they had more money, but rather because the things they like spending their money on happen to coincide with a big bout.
