The majority of Floyd fans are the type of guys who root for whoever/whatever is hot at the moment. I can almost guarantee that the majority of Floyd fans are also Patriot fans at the moment!

I'll get stick for this but I sort of get the same impression. There are some guys who appreciate Floyd for his skill and ability, and maybe a few who like his flashiness, but the majority give me the distinct impression that they like to be on the winning team. They're the ones with the brand new Red Sox hats but they've kept their Yankees gear in their closets just in case.

I been following mayweather for years. **** even before him and cotto fought on the same card here in fresno years ago! Mayweather is the face of boxing right now. He is now a household name and even was on a nation wide reality show. of course his fan base is only going to grow why do you guys continue to hate on floyd. geesh get a ****en life. there is not one thing that you guys dont complain about when it comes to floyd.

Going back to the topic, Hatton fans certainly aren't that wealthy for the most part - but again, for the most part they are as ******ly rabid as fans come. It comes from the football culture in the UK and there isn't really an equivalent in the US I believe (maybe college sport?)

I think if floyd got Kod most of the gangsta kids would move on to a new host.
