How did Graham/Hatton not anticipate that? They claimed that they watched FMJ's fights "for years". After the fight, Ricky said that he was surprised by Floyd's foremarm and elbow and shoulder work. HUH??

We put it into the "no excuses thread", meaning that we as posters expected a heavy dose of forearms/elbows. Hatton was talking about Floyd as if he was some ***** fighter, and I have seen a rough/dirty inside fighter his whole career.

You are getting very defensive and emotional when the point was CLEARLY not directed towards you. Your estrogen levels are spiking for no reason.

Go read the post. It said that HATTON said that he was surprised by the forearms and elbows. That is one of the first things that HATTON said in the Merchant interview and also at the post-fight presser.

But if you insist on taking the comment personally, please do so. What can you do about it other than be mad?

I don't agree that Floyd's straight right looks like B-Hop's.

Hopkins throws his straight right with his hands up, after pawing a few jabs and catching some punches on his glove. Floyd moved backwards with his hands basically in his lap, to lure Hatton in. Hopkins didn't do that. He doesn't have the speed.

After watching again, I thought Floyd could have made it more onesided if he wanted to. Mayweather just doesnt take as many chances at this weight, but he should have this fight because he was physically bigger and stronger than Hatton.

When Floyd opened up it was ugly. Instead he was trying to time counters which worked out in the long run.

I feel the same way. He took a while just potshotting before realizing that he could have his way with Ricky.

i said Floyd would UD or TKO Hatton late, based on the fact that HATTON well, isnt as good as any of the top welters whom FMJ refuses to fight.
