I have to say that not all Margarito fans think he's the best, He's good and a hell of an exciting fighter and would give any WW a hard time for sure! The reason why Some of us think he would beat Mayweather Is because he would Use the same game plan as Castillo, Hatton and Chavez but the only diffrence is that Margarito is bigger Hits hard and has a chin of steal. Hatton was doing good but he's used to gettying hit by 140 pounders, we all saw what happen when he 1st moved up to 47. Margarito is a big WW and I think he would be able to take Mayweathers punches. Even dough I have Respect for Mayweathers skills I think the only way he beats Margarito is if he fights him like he fought Castillo the 2nd time. Mayweather UD

Once again, please remember that Floyd hasn't even really had time to sign a fight with Cotto yet. Before Cotto beat Mosley, there really was no clear #1 contender in the division.

Okay, so you believed him when he said that he wasn't going to fight anyone after May 5th?

There is this tactic that Floyd might be trying... it's called making the other fighter make concessions in order to get the bout. If Cotto wants the bout badly enough, then he will give up some more of the purse, etc. to get it. MAYBE that is why Floyd says no dice on Cotto, we'll see. That is why I am not making any assumptions about whether or not we will see Mayweather vs. Cotto.
