Baldomir and Judah. Hatton was technically a welterweight too since he made the limit and had 8 weeks or whatever to get adjusted.

      Couple questions for Margarito fans:

      1. If you were the number 1 contender rated by the ring, would you fight the 2 man or the champion (who also holds another belt, while the #2 has only one) while they were offering you the same amount of money?

      2. For those who say Hatton was a Jr.welterweight and too small for a welterweight, why did Julio Casear Chavez become a sucessful welterweight or why did Pernell Whitaker become a sucessful welterweight. Or how about the fighters fighting at welterweight when boxing had no jr.welterweight if they weighed 145 pounds were they too small?

I guess... Baldomir was getting wiped out on the cards though (predictably), and Baldomir didn't do anything to change the fight. Like I said, it's not like Carlos Baldomir beat Joshua Clottey. If anything, Clottey beat himself.

Baldomir won 3 rounds and was able to back Clottey up when he let his hands go, other than that Clottey was winning clearly, If Clottey was'nt ****** he would have won that fight by decision but despite getting three warnings, Losing 3 Points deductions after those warnings and still using his head, he got DQ and rightfully so. Learn from your mistakes...thats what he did and is back in the mix.

I was trying to think of a fight that was like this... and I finally did (maybe, I haven't seen Clottey vs. Baldomir, what broadcast was it?)... Anyways, it sounds a lot like both Bowe/Golota fights.

Does anyone think that Rid**** Bowe can really claim Andrew Golota on his resume as a good win?

I just wanna know why Floyd wont defend his WW championship against a WW, that's all.
