Jackson knocked people out with punches that looked like they wouldn't hurt let alone knock someone out cold.
Ray Robinson ko'd people while walking backwards.

Ali Liston was art,Ali Foreman was art.

What i'm saying is those guys like Foreman on occasion when having a guy hurt might go out of their way to set up the devastating or astheticaly pleasing ko when somebody is ready to be finished when they could rather just keep on pummeling them.

Yeah but some guys have more of those kinds of ko's then the norm.
I guess the term can be used for both but I think there is a difference when you really start to break it all down.

A knockout artist is one that can end a fight without throwing too many punches. They don't even have to be hard punches because a knockout artist hits you on the button. AKA Frazier, Jackson, Roy Jones, Joe Louis, Marvin Hagler, Tua, Hearns, Morrison, Wlad Klitschko ect...
A big puncher overwhelms you AKA Foreman, Cotto, Vitali ect...
These guys end fights with an accumulation of punches, they throw every punch with knock out intention, hence they're not as accurate.
