Oh my God! The announcer said so! Forgive me, Lord I have seen the light!

Sorry if that doesn't change my opinion too much. A 4 time Light Heavyweight champ, wow, against an old Jones and a guy who beat an old Jones as his top competition.

Nah Dawson would crush Woods..lol. again, woods is the IBF champion. can you get any more elite?
Yes, by beating top fighters. Woods is good, not elite. Johnson is not, and has never been elite at any point in his career.

He was good but not elite back then. i doubt that the early Hopkins would be as dominate as prime Hopkins. i have never seen Roy deal with hard pressure in his prime against an elite fighter who was naturally a pressure fighter.
How many elite, natural, prime pressure fighters were around his weight class in his day? The ones he fought, the ones as good or better than Glenn Johnson, he beat.

The argument is not whether he would've beaten a great pressure fighter in their prime, it's whether or not he would've beaten Glenn Johnson.

And by saying you never saw how Roy would deal with an elite pressure fighter in his prime, you ruin your theory when you say that was the way to beat Jones.

We're arguing about boxing, as that is what this is, a boxing forum.
