Floyd has great defense, but not the offense needed to fight an offensive machine like this.
Floyd is the best in the game at dedense and at making adjustments. SRR has never had to deal with anyone quite like PBF in his day. SRR would get frustrated by having most of his shots blocked and not being able to connect with the target.

Regardless if most of his shots were blocked partially(which I doubt, being as SRR was THE best combination punchers of all time) they would still take a toll on Floyd and get his attention. Floyd would be on the bicycle all night for this one, otherwise he likely gets stopped.

Floyd does not have the offense to stay in this one unless he is on his bike, in which case he gets decisioned.

Floyd doesxn't have to trade with SRR in order to win the fight. Just stick and move along with his great defense he will be able to get a close Decision victory.

Whoever said Floyd would beat SRR at any weight is a damn fool & should be banned from future boxing discussions immediately! I'm pretty sure Robinson would stop Floyd!

              ..................

You cant even compare the eras.....

the boxing styles are so diffrent.........

you can only judge based on who fought who........

and i think SRR fought the better competition in his time........

but you cant compare by saying what if the 2 fought.....

it dosent equate well because of the fact that its diffrent eras......

its like taking any sport say like basketball....and trying to compare the games from than and now......

the game is played totally diffrent from than to now..........
