I don't think Green can beat Kessler right now. Whether he can in the future remains to be seen. I personally would doubt it.

He only took the Rubin fight when he thought Ward wouldn't go through with the HBO fight. Then ESPn refused to let him out of his FNF contract to fight Williams. Ward would be a good dangerous fight for both guys. Its hard for him to step up too much given that he lost in his only HBO appearance but if he beats Ward then he's back in the mix with pretty much anyone at 168. Allan Green is a bad man and will prove that once again with the colon issues now past

Green dosen't even deserve to be in the same ring as Kessler. He needs some bigger wins on his resume!
Plus, Kessler would destroy him anyway.

Rubin Williams isn't a bad option. I would be really surprised if he fought Andre Ward because that seems like a risky fight so soon into Ward's career.

You're right in that there is a ton of guys at 68, Bika would be a nice choice and give him some visibility. Many many options in the IBF but the big problem at 68 is there are a lot of guys tied up with German promoters(Universum and Sauerland) and that makes matchmaking difficult because they tend to feed their guys quite a few soft touches while building their records and my guess is that his promoters want him to stay away from Germany for a little while.

As far as Pascal, I thought the mad talk was between Miranda and Pascal.

Im a close friend of greens, He live about 30 minutes away and I catch all his fights that occur in Tulsa. I talked with him after the woods fight and he said he still wasnt 100 percent because of having so much of his colon removed. He was very ill against miranda, But remember, he still was the first to drop miranda. This guy has talent and can really do damage in the supermiddle division. Don't right him off, He's still trying to get back to 100 percent health before he steps up again.

Rematch with Miranda at 168 should help him redeem himself from that disgraceful loss. Bute would also be a good bout.

he had to have 90% of his colin removed and was dehydrated in that fight. Green beats Miranda in the rematch IMO. even when Green showed flahes of his real self and open up, he would do well. he even knocked Miranda down.

I thought Green got a gift against Emmett Linton, but he does have good power, and could make for some good fights.
