Prime for Prime: Rid**** Bow vs Lennox Lewis

We know about Bowe losing to Lewis in the Ams. We know about him trashing the belt (literally) so that he didn't have to face Lennox.

But honestly- Bowe was good. If they had met in the mid-90's, who would have won?

    Golota double KO

But seriously if they did fight right after Bowe beat Holyfield in the first fight Bowe would have a really good chance, that's when he was at his best and Lewis didn't peak until several years later.

Best version of Bowe vs best Version of Lewis I dont know probably Lewis because Bowe is too easy to hit.

it's hard to argue this, because as childish as it seems to say one fighter was scared of another, Bowe was 'scared' of Lewis. For whatever reason he didn't think he could beat him.

        Lewis and easy.

Bowe is a crazy fighter. If I was a fighter I'd imagine i'd fight alot like him. But he had alot of chin issues. And Lewis would tap that.

It's not so much that Lewis peaked those few years later. It's more of the fact that the legends that he was fighting were on the downslide while he was in his prime. Lennox was an oppurtunist; he fought everybody at the right times. Not saying that it was his fault (some didn't want to fight him), but it's true...

No he didn't have alot of chin issues. Accumulated, brutal exchanges with a HW champion SHOULD leave you feeling stunned. And Golota fought him when he was slurring like a drunk.

Lewis no doubt. and Bowe knew this from the Olympics because he threw one of his belts in the trash because he didn't want to fight him. i think lewis would keep his distance, fire that left jab and nail in those right hands all night long and stop Bowe in the late rounds. Lewis TKO 10.

bowe was too soft. he feasted either on smaller guys or guys past there best. anyone his size with some skill that could punch would take him out. lewis would have taken him out within 6

If by chin issues you mean taking power punches repeatedly without going down, then yes he did because he proved he had a great chin. Bowe was surprisingly fast and could counter with a puncher like prime Holyfield, so if Lewis got too excited with his wild punches like he did early in his career, Bowe can make him pay for a small mistake. But as far as a real boxing match goes, Bowe would need that left jab all night. This version of Lennox wasn't as crafted yet. It's a close matchup.
