    Style makes fight.

Meaweather would do very well against a type of fighter but would do very poorly against another kind.

    Grapplers!

he would absolutely hurt people in MMA...
I hope you're kidding...Mayweather would get murdered in MMA, he would get taken down right away and either be submitted or get his face smashed in.
The 155 pound Lightweight champ is Sean Sherk, he would literally destroy Floyd in 30 seconds or less.

          floyd wouldnt do it
plus floyd is the worst boxer for mma with his style turning around and showing people his back knowing theyre not allowed to hit thm there
maybe antoher boxer could be successful in MMA but definitely not flloyd

The point is their are not many one dimensional fighters anymore. They are slowing getting moved out of the sport by more well rounded guys.

Almost all fighters of a good ranking know enough grappling to take Floyd out in a matter of minutes.

Especially in the lighter weights. 99 percent of smaller fighters are grappler's.

You got a very good point. Alot of light weight guys are good grapplers.

A few top rank light weight guys may stay and strike with him tho. Takanori Gomi comes in mind.

Their are LW guys who did make a career of striking, like Gomi. However I doubt any of them would be ****** enough to strike with him. They all know who he is and all have enough grappling experience to take him out really easy. Gomi has participated in ADCC and has some decent grappling.

However anyone at his weight who DOES strike with him, is in for some SERIOUS pain.

The only people who have a chance against a boxer like Floyd are really good kickboxers. Something the lighter weight divisions on lacking BIG TIME. Getting kicked by a guy who's leg is harder then a baseball bat is a big shock. Most people are not ready for it. It takes tons of years training to really take hard kicks and not be phased.

                  talking about kickboxer...

freakshow or not, what I'd like to see the most is PBF against this guys instead of a grappler:

                  Fireworks striking for sure!

all mayweather has to do is learn how to defend take downs like liddell and he could beat anybody otherwise he has no chance.
