He seems to have a solid beard though. And if he makes the fight with Cintron & inside game, Cintron won't be able to use that power. Cintron needs room to punch to get full power on his punches.

      I disagree.
have you ever seen Clottey knocked out from one shot? he has a good chin. Clottey is underrated, he was beating Boldimer but lost by DQ for fouling. and he messed his hands up in the Margarito fight. he was on his way to beating Margarito by wide UD.

Clottey has never been in the ring with someone who hits remotely as hard as Cintron does.

something that's never come up on this topic

and a point that still hasn't been brought up is Clottey's defense.

            IMO thats Clottey's best asset

in a fight vs Cotto Joshua's high guard would be useless vs Cotto's body punching

unless Kermit's developed on his body punching, Clottey should pick off most of the power punches landed by Cintron, just on keeping his gloves up.

fights do not always end in a knockout so you need a plan B. what will Cintron do if Clottey keeps coming even after he landed his huge bombs? a knockout is the only way i see Cintron winning. i think Clottey is too good of a boxer to lose by decision to Cintron unless Cintron breaks him down and win by decision, but i cant see that happening.

i think clottery would win by UD, but I wouldn't count Cintron out, he can be explosive. Needs to be constently explosive thou, not like what he showed verse felciano. maybe they can fight eachother one handed haha. I would actually like to see this fight, then the winner fight Cotto.

and the only reason feliciano was able to "hang in there" is because of cintron's busted right hand and felicianos ridiculous chin!

Guys who have "hung in there" with cintron: Teddy Reid (KO'd in Rd. 8 and sent to the hospital for observation), David Estrada (KO'd in Rd. 10 and sent to the hospital for observation, suffered concussion), Mark Suarez (didnt hang in there long, but got past the opening bell of round 6...KO'd, sent to the hospital for observation, suffered concussion), Feliciano (KO'd in Rd. 10 after being hit cleanly with 14 consecutive power punches) I dont know if "hanging in there" with cintron is the best choice. all he needs is one or two punches.

that being said, clottey can win if he comes out and applies a lot of pressure early, before cintron gets use to the pace.

but he wont. Cintron by KO.
ok but how many of them was at least a top 10 welter? Cintron has never beat anyone elite.

                    I believe Cintron takes this.

I dont rate Clottey that much.

Cintron's power is overrated. I think Clottey wins as well. Just because he gonna fight hard and come forward the entire night.
