paulie is extremely genuine. very good boxer who i feel would win a fight with hatton.

i hoped i was wrong about hatton but the guys an overhyped fighter who would find an extremely difficult time in a fight with paulie.

I totally disagree and Im sick of the bias against boxers. The sport is called boxing for a reason. There's alot of different ways to fight. The sport would be so boring if we didnt have the purest and the masters of the sweet science. Look at guys like Sweet Pea. Everyone wasnt meant to be George Foreman. Sometimes everyone is just stronger then you but if your good and smart then you find other ways to win. Paulie has mastered the sweet science and Im not mad at him for it. Infact, I love it. I love watching guys like him just as much or even more then I like watching guys like Cotto. Thats why Im proud to say that I was the 1st guy on this board giving Paulie mad props and telling everyone how good this kid is back in the day when either no one knew him or they just thought he was a garbage club fighter with a big mouth. paulie has grown on me alot. he is a very good boxer and is underrated. it all changed for me in the cotto fight. paulie had a busted jaw, and took some big shots, yet he never quit! plus he is funny as hell! i dont care what he looks like, and ****. that does not affect his boxing! i will continue to watch him. if this kid had power he would be great, and he would dominate most guys!

I've been saying that Paulie is the real deal for a while. I claimed that Paulie would win 4-5 rounds against Cotto before they even fought. Read it here:

I've given Paulie props for a while now. After I saw how he was able to handle Cotto's power and how much heart/desire this kid has, I really felt he was the best in the division after Cotto. Hatton is good, but his style is to hold on the inside, not work. A smart fighter who can grab him instead of allowing himself to be grabbed, can jab 25 times a round, and can sidestep him will always have the advantage over Hatton (I've said this 20 thousand times, even before the PBF fight). That's why I think Paulie is #1 at 140 right now.

It's his style, like no other, he isn't a carbon copy of anybody. I became a fan of Paulie Malignaggi when he fought Cotto. You gotta admit this dude has alot heart. Courage to say the least. Even though he talks alot of smack, the dude was humble enough to say he lost "fair and square", and that there is true Champion. He's gotta get in there in the ring, ay what ever floats your boat, you know what I mean. Check this out, I jump out of perfectly good airplanes, and Black Hawk and Chinook Helicopters...and in the middle of the night!. You gotta be a little crazy to do that! Whoever says they ain't scared is lieing their *ss off! My heart pounds like crazy, I know I could burn out and crash, but guess what....I'm still jumping out that plane!
