Let me be the first to say that I despise this guy's style. The headband, the waxed eyebrows, the zero body hair, the spiky porcupine haircut.

This guy spells out H to the O - M - O.

But somethiing about him comes across as real. When a guy like Floyd Mayweather trash talks, I dont acknowledge it because I consider the source. But Malignaggi to me is an articulate and real ass dude. Reminds me of me in my heyday.

Am I wrong in liking this metrosexual *****, or should I just write him off and hope Ricky batter's his ass.

this is boxing. Why do people get mad because a guy cant punch hard? Its still whooping your ass. He outclasses you and makes you look like a fool. He demoralizes you over 12 rounds. Paulie is the real deal but I think Floyd is too. In and out the ring

I totally disagree and Im sick of the bias against boxers. The sport is called boxing for a reason. There's alot of different ways to fight. The sport would be so boring if we didnt have the purest and the masters of the sweet science. Look at guys like Sweet Pea. Everyone wasnt meant to be George Foreman. Sometimes everyone is just stronger then you but if your good and smart then you find other ways to win. Paulie has mastered the sweet science and Im not mad at him for it. Infact, I love it. I love watching guys like him just as much or even more then I like watching guys like Cotto. Thats why Im proud to say that I was the 1st guy on this board giving Paulie mad props and telling everyone how good this kid is back in the day when either no one knew him or they just thought he was a garbage club fighter with a big mouth. The kid has mad skills

Well.....Sweat Pea actually knocked a few folks out. Remember the bout with Bojorquez when he was down and out.

His style was nothing like Paulies. He had decent pop that kept guys off of him. Paulie's are litereally love tops.

ANd he hasn't mastered the sweet science either. I was the first one saying he was a garbage club fighter.

He already lost his first step up. He takes on HAtton, he gets thorougly dominated. Outboxed. Outfought. Whatever you want to call it.

I like Paulie and all, but Hatton is clearly the better fighter.

always been a fan. he's a boxer, who is entertaining at the same time. being a "boxer" in todays world basically means (a lot of) people think you're a boring, counter punching, pot shotting, runner. malignaggi is none of those things.

i'd like to see him sit down more on his punches now that his hands are healthy. i can see him developing a little more power over the years, but he'll always be a light punching boxer in comparison to a lot of other jww/ww.
