He did what he was suppose to do, he executed perfecty, so all credit to him. Nice right hand too. That was my first time seeing him. It won't be my last.Comment

Just got back from the fights, Vanes looked pretty good.
Ive seen him fight about 4 times live, and this is the best he's looked.
But lets not forget the guy he was fighting was no world beater, they need to keep moving him up slowly. Maybe one day he can become world class.Comment

Wow, Vanes looked like the next big thing tonight. He worked beautifully behind the jab, landed excellent right hands, and showed a lot of patience in finishing his man. Vanes showed a lot of maturity and composure, something lacking in his days with Roach. Perhaps Ronnie Shields has done some great work with Vanes.
Then again, his opponent didn't even have a trainer. I would've liked to see some more of him, see how he works as the rounds progress and his opponent can make him miss.
I was there last night, bought ticket wednesday at Hard Rock. Vanes was impressived, showing good boxing skills to set up the harder punches. His height help too. His opponent didn't have a trainer, did not know that. Its now time for Vanes to step up the comptetition.Comment
