    Vanes Martirosyan very impressive tonight

Wow, Vanes looked like the next big thing tonight. He worked beautifully behind the jab, landed excellent right hands, and showed a lot of patience in finishing his man. Vanes showed a lot of maturity and composure, something lacking in his days with Roach. Perhaps Ronnie Shields has done some great work with Vanes.

Then again, his opponent didn't even have a trainer. I would've liked to see some more of him, see how he works as the rounds progress and his opponent can make him miss.

really want to see him step up his competition in the next few fights and see how he reacts. But looked good non the less. Joel Julio and him would be a very nice matchup in years to come

Julio is so hittable that Vanes might knock him the **** out.

He is still improving and he has power and will make it an interesting fight. Vanes is not the boxer that Quintana is and will be there for Julio to hit back. Stylisticly I think it would be exciting and that Joel would be competitive. I think he is just badly matched against slick boxers.

Vanes is pretty hittable, but when he reaches his peak he's gonna be something special offensively.

And he has a very fan friendly style

Vanes is a improving with every fight. I thought tonight he looked spectacular. He used his jab early and let his hands go. His footwork in the ring has always been great. He should be an exciting fighter for years to come.
