    The secret to beating Mayweather...

My friend Shaun George called me up just now and we were talking boxing. He told me about when he saw Mayweather sparring in the Olympics with Terrence Cauthen, a southpaw boxer/puncher. He said Mayweather had no answers to when Cauthen popped his jab and moved to his right, making Mayweather circle to his own right. Shaun said Cauthen was really giving it to Mayweather bad.

Spadafora, another southpaw mover, also did the same kind of thing against Mayweather.

Zab did the same thing in the first half of the fight and got off to good effect also. I'm convinced more than ever that Paul Williams is just too perfect in his style for Mayweather to win.

I still don't think Paul would do it. He's too easy to hit. Floyd can become the agressor if he needs to. Paul doesn't put much power behind his punches he just throws so many. I doubt Floyd would worry of him loading up and trying to nail him.

Paul would have to be able to do this sucessfully for the whole fight which I don't see happening. I think Floyd would counter it with something.

paul throws so many punches though will pbf even be able to get off enough punches to keep up? plus paul is way taller, and his reach is way more than that of pbf. the only thing that may save pbf is the fact that paul is not a big hitter! if he was no one would be safe!

Which is why the fight prolly wont happen. Hope it does though. I feel Willy has the best chance for the upset. Him or Golden Johnson.

Firstly the Olympics were a long time ago, secondly the one point you neglected to mention was that all these guys that caused Floyd trouble were beaten.

Judah caused PFB some trouble, he lost.

De La Hoya caused PFB some trouble, he lost.

Hatton even caused PFB some trouble (second round), he lost.

Trainers and boxers alike have studied hours and hours of Floyd's fights trying to find a ***** in his armour but all have come up short because Floyd always does enough.

Mayweather beats Cotto, Williams and Margarito

haha I was thinking the same thing. But still, I believe Asian is right! I mean Zab did give him a tougher fight than Hatton did imo. So maybe The Punisher is the guy that would beat Floyd Mayweather, I just don't believe he'll ever get beat

None of the welterweights would beat Floyd. Late in his last fight Paul was getting hit by slow ass Margarito. And yeah Paul throws a lot and lands...against opponents who stand right in front of him. Floyd is going to be on the defensive waiting for Paul to leave himself open. Paul's never fought someone as skilled offensively and defensively as Floyd. If Paul's chin isn't up to par HE CAN GO DOWN. Remember where you heard it, if they ever fight.

Has Paul Williams chin ever been tested?

he does enough because he adapts... once you find something that works against him... he changes... to counter what your doing..
