Calzaghe vs Hopkins will be similar to Calzaghe vs Bika!!!!!

When i first found out about this fight being made, i thought that Calzaghe would just blow Hopkins out by wide UD but now, i actually think Hopkins has a chance. In the Bika fight, i seen that Bika was able to throw Calzaghe off with his dirty tactics, give him a hard fight, and even cut him over the eye. Hopkins masters at these things so i would not be suprised to see it in this fight ( if it happens). think about it, Golden Boy is promoting it and its in Las vegas. They could get a biased judge in there that would let Hopkins do what ever he wants so yeah, i give Hopkins a chance at winning now. Another thing, since when have you known Hopkins to take a fight without knowing that he has a shot, once he sees some kind of weakness, he pushes for a fight and tries to get a deal. Thats why he choose to fight Tarver and Winky, he seen that they were not looking good in thier last few fights so he figured out a way to beat them. Im not saying that he will beat Calzaghe but i give him a better chance then what any of you think.

It's the nearest we'll get before the fight itself, but bear in mind The Blow went into that fight not giving a ****. He'll be up for Bore Hard.

      A few things really:

Calzaghe - Bika was not even close, Hopkins may be smarter than Bika but a headbutt is a headbutt whichever way you look at it, if Bika couldnt throw him off enough with headbutts I doubt Hopkins can.

If Oscar was good at getting biased judges, then surely he would have got one for his fight with PBF?

Calzaghe is too good for Hopkins. Sure Winky was no mug but he was too small, as for Tarver, he was a bum compared to Hopkins and Calzaghe.

nobody is too good for nobody. trust me, it will not be as bad as it looks, Hopkins sees something and will at least give Calzaghe the fight of his life. Hopkins is too smart to be blown out. I wouldn't even be suprised if he pulled out a contrversial decision.

Yeah, I said this is another thread. Two things though, as someone said Calzaghe will put on a performance like he did against Lacy and Kessler against Hopkins and Hopkins has more ring smarts than Bika does.I bet Calzaghe is glad he took the Bika fight now, he knows what to expect in the Hopkins fight.

Yeah cos Calzaghe vs Lacy was the closest fight I've ever seen.

Seriously though, Joe is better now then when Hopkins ducked him before, so what he sees is a mystery, personally, I think hes weighed up all the options and discovered Calzaghe is his biggest payday ATM.

I see Hopkins fouling, using his head, and roughing Calzaghe up all night. but i still see Calzaghe beating him but it surely will not be a blow out or an embarrassment.

After watching more of Bika's fights he likes to take big swings with his right, Hopkins would be far, far more accurate.

I would like to think that nobody thought I was comparing Bika to Hopkins, because that would be an insult to Hopkins. I dont see the fight playing out much differently though.
