Hatton's still better than Floyd

Well said, although Hatton seemed to be more successful then any other fighter in recent history against Mayweather(I have alot of respect for Hatton's performance), Mayweather knew what he was doing and never seemed to be at a lose.Comment

This is why I love boxingscene. Not because of the infallible boxing knowledge of its posters and their deep insight/vast intellect, but because of amusing ass hats like this! It makes my day (at least on here) every time.

That is the true definition of a lucky punch you really do need to rewatch the fight. First off Tarver wasn't even looking at what he was throwing at. Second Roy had his glove up to block the punch only thing was that where the punch landed Roy's glove wasn't protecting. So Roy saw and knew what punch was coming just bad placement of the glove to block the punch. We all know what happened after that. There is no such thing as a lucky punch. Just because your boy was on the receiving end doesn't change this. I am curious to know what you found lucky about that punch. I've only seen the fight once, but I remember it being a pretty deliberate shot by Tarver (as opposed to some involuntary muscle spasm). Roy no longer had the athleticism to make up for his attrocious defense so he got caught flush and hit the dirt. Nothing lucky about it.Comment
