depends on the circumstance. vitali was obviously smart in quitting against byrd in a fight he was winning and would have won handily as he risked permanent injury, obviously he didnt quit in fear of byrds power,,lol. he went on to eventually win the title. had he fought on,, it may have ended his career. he doesnt have a phd for nothing
