it's getting old really. i could dedicate some time to posting a reasonable response, but it's only going to fall on deaf ears.

we watched clottey have an awful time with a much more crude body puncher in richard gutierrez. clottey is too up and down to deal with a fighter like miguel cotto.

cotto has had 2 1/2 years and 11 world class, championship fights since he out pointed n'dou. why even bring it up? he has only gotten better...

if you thought the cotto/n'dou fight could have gone either way you have serious problems. psych-ward caliber problems.
I've noticed that this poster, DLT, has serious bias issues against Cotto. Cotto has proven himself as a good fighter and yet some people for some reason can never bring themselves to give him credit. I have a feeling DLT is an avid PBF fanatic.

What a ******. How you thought that N`Dou won that fight is beyond me.

Look men if you are a hater, then just be. But dont come with this I like Cotto but, everybody will beat him. WTF is that?

Cotto vs Cottey will look like Cotto vs Abdullaev or Cotto vs Branco.

Both of you shut up. 1st off check the date of this thread. Its old. Also, I have never said that Cotto sucks. I just always say that I think he will always have a much harder time against guys his own size or who's bigger and that played out in the Margarito fight. He may have cheated but who knows. Anyways, my main point is that you can be a great fighter like Cotto is but still lose because he's also fighting another great fighter. You guys made it sound like I said that a bum would beat him. Clottey aint no scrub at all and I still say that its a pickem fight because I think Clottey goes into a shell too much and I think Cotto has serious stamina issues

See, what you do is highlight whatever flaws a fighter has and exaggerate them to overshadow any accomplishments or positive attributes they have. In typical sly hater fashion, you'll begin with "I like so and so, but he has this flaw so he'll never be anything in boxing".

You have 3 posters respond right after the other with the same observation of your posting. You're a hater. You pretend not to be, but you are. I'm sure Ive I dig, I'll find Margarito hate threads as well as Mosley hate threads. It wont be hard to find the connection.

That's many keep picking against Cotto everytime and keep being wrong.
i agree, hes so big and strong and can box great aswell when he needs to,i cant see clottey beating him at all

Cotto fought N'Dou 5 years ago, and it was at 140.

things that may give Cotto a problem from Clottey: Clottey's right hand, very quick and accurate. Ealry on he will be brave enough and tough enough to go for it. He will be dangerous for about three rounds. Clottey really should be fighting at 154, look at his record he has a tough time making 147 which is probably why he gases late. If he dont get Cotto out early he will receive a major league beating. Honestly I dont see Clottey being able to deal with the Cotto jab which will put him ino his shell more which will open him up for the body shots and we know where it goes from there. Clottey either gets Cotto into a shootout early, gets lucky and wins by TKO or KO or Cotto breaks Clottey down and knocks him out at some point in the fight.
