Forrest is a rapidly improving fighter with age. But i think Floyd will have to much counter ability. He can mix it up a bit more. Take nothing away from Vernon his recent performances have been nothing short of spectacular.

vernon is back better than ever. smarter.
the skills forrest shown to adapt to the tuff cookie piccirillo. piccirillos style would give the best problems. he ate massive quantitys of vernons leather.

          floyds too small.
vernons power, skill, size. floyds life would be in danger.
          it'll never happen

              ROFLLLLLLLLLLL

Wow, I can't believe what I'm reading. I'm just laughing at all those who think Forrest would win this fight at 37 years old against a fighter like Floyd.

Floyd outclasses an old Vernon Forrest by UD, 10-2, 9-3ish

Im thinking the same,i was shocked,IMO,DLH is a harder fight
Forrest's latest performance's wernt great,he looked sharp against Baldomir, but Baldomir is a punching bag now, especially at 154. He looked tired and sloppy in his latest win I put that in bold just so people remember

Forrest doesnt throw enough punches to defeat Floyd,he throws in burst,he aint the fastest guy Floyd would fight, and hes orthadox and not hard to hit,i just couldent see him doing it,especially against the p4p best in the sport

Now I totally agree with this. Shane cant box. Shane is a average boxer so I dont know why people always talk about his boxing skills. He's not that good. Shane is just a rapid fire guy. His Offense is based off of flurries. What does Shane do for you to call him a great boxer? All he does is explode with speed & power but he's not half the boxer Floyd is.

A younger Forrest wins this hands down, but then not really a very fair matchup for Floyd. Pretty decent fight if it happened right now, but there are far better fights out there for Floyd. 147 is about his limit, I'd say to remain the best in the sport.

                      Mayweather shouldn't fight at 154.
