Find 2 well known bums and feed them to these 2. so they'l feel better. Winning your last fight makes you sleep better i think.

I know what you mean, Morales looked soft. If he's stayed in shape he has a chance at beat Diaz again.

I will only believe the real reason to comeback is for a last fight between them. 12 more rounds of nonstop action... lol!

This news is both joyous and saddening at the same time for me.

It's joyous because I'm a huge fan of both fighters and truly believe every fighter deserves to go out on a victory. Barrera and Morales both lost their retirement matches, and that's not the way a fighter, especially a Mexican fighter, wants to be remembered. And I would love nothing more to see both men go out on a victory, the way they want, because they've earned it by giving us all so much to appreciate over the years.

At the same time it's a sad commentary, not on the sport of boxing but on the nature of a fighter. I think it's deeply saddening to know that despite all the times they've thrilled us with brutal brawls, came back from the brink of defeat to pull off an upset, and dazzled us with superior technical boxing ability that they are still somehow drawn back to the limelight of the ring. It's perplexing to think that maybe they think they haven't given us their "all" yet when all evidence shows they clearly have.

I don't think it would be too much of a risk for either guy to come back in an 8 round, "farewell" match against an opponet of minimal risk. But at the same time, I think both Barrera and Morales wouldn't take that route, and would rather step in the ring against a highly regarded fighter and risk everything for that one last "hurrah".

Come on, guys. Give it a rest and let them hang their gloves for good.

What’s the point of coming back for another fight? Another loss would be too embarrassing for either of them. And where is the glory in fighting any bum just to make sure of a last win? They have given their best fights in their best years and let’s be content with that. Too bad that they went out with losses in their last fights but there’s no shame with that, as long as they gave their best.

The fans will just have to live with it.
