Barrera is on the down slope physically obviously, but his boxing won him four rounds against Marquez who is still a great fighter. MAB is never going to beat Pac even at 122 where he was more capable of brawling.

I'm not sure who he could fight though. He's way too small at Lightweight. And it's kind of hard to find safe opponents at 130.

both barrera and morales should stay retired!!! i love barrera as a fighter, he is my favourite fighter of all time, he has nothin to prove. let him and morales enjoy there retiremenets, they are both great fighters, legends and will both be in the hall of fame in 5 years time...............and will probably be inducted in the hall of fame at the same time in 5 years, what a coincidence, these 2 great warriors are forever linked with each other

these two men are true warriors who have given the fans years and years of excitement. they should only come out of retirement to fight each other.

I have a huge amount of respect for both guys and have loved watching them fight over the years. That said, they should never fight ever again.

Morales wanted promotion from Arum so he could fight David Diaz in a rematch..... While I believe Morales could beat Diaz... I am glad he is not fighting anymore. It would suck if Morales did get injured or simply if he lost again. A lot of people are quick to write a fighter off as overrated if they loose near the end of their careers and Morales doesn't deserve that.

Morales gave us an incredible career of boxing at a warp speed fighting one tough fight after another after another like seldom fighters do today. The fact that he was a success makes it the more amazing. Morales can stay retired enjoy his beautiful wife and kids and a buttload of money and companies he owns.
