they were effective at that and not much else, neither of them barely landed a thing on floyd, oscar was a bit more effective but he still clearly lost in the eyes of most, hatton was almost completely ineffective at everything else but smothering and crowdign mayweather and that **** only worked for about 5 rounds until the tables turned.

agreed, although I did have Oscar beating Mayweather by 1 rounds, but Hatton didnt do enough.

i had my one buddy watch the hatton figth with me again... and hes not into boxing as much as me but he liked how good floyd was... and i told him.. dont watch anything but floyds eyes.. and youll see why hes so good.... he analyzes everything you do.. and after he watched him.. hes like wow i know what your saying now... he anticiaptes everything through his eyes....

your guys argument is a tad ridiculous... i dont think its one thing in particular that makes floyd so good... but rather the idea that he has all of them, and uses them together... hence as he is referred to as... the "total package" its everything that he has that makes him so gifted...

I would say his ring smarts. His concentration and ring smarts go hand in hand that he is CONSTANTLY planning his moves and his counter attacks.

I know what you mean about his concerntration rarely takes his eyes off his opponent for a second. Also I have heard I certain commentator suggest he may practice yoga or some sort of special breathing exercises because of the way he fights in bursts, controls the action and never gasses out.

I agree. this along with careful opponent selection is why he is undefeated. the guy has skills.

That what makes him undeafted. He is so focus and does so little mistake.

That what made him rarely look bad in a fight even though some fighters he fought are pretty good he made them look bad and amataurish.

For fighters who want to beat Mayweather they shouldnt only be thinking of streanghth or speed but to outsmart him which is why I dont see fighter at WW beating him.
