Theres 2 things about the whole Roid Jones Jr scandal that suprise me:

      1) How are this mans fights still being sanctioned?

      2) Once a cheat, always a cheat, hes still on drugs, why do people still fight this guy?

Just as I said on numerous occasions, boxing is doing fine.
Yeah, there are dry periods some times, but this can be said for every sport.

When you get caught, you get suspended. His suspension is over now.

If you get caught more you can get stiffer penalties, ie longer suspensions and even banning.

Boxing had some awesome fights this year, and they definitely did not involve Floyd Mayweather.

His fight with Hatton was horrible, and the one with De la Hoya, boring. Hatton is just an overhyped and overrated boxer. He's actually quite bad.

That said, Kudos to guys like Cotto, Mosley, Pavlik, Zudah, Taylor and many more that I don't feel like naming, for giving us extremely good fights.

Mayweather might be the greatest boxer of all times, but he's definitely not the most exciting boxer to watch.

Boxing this year put itself back at the top of sports.
