wlad being "too russian" has alot to do with the way he speaks, and his general demeanor, wlad is a nice guy, hes a good man and a smart man who speaks many languages, but he doesnt have the personality to have that crossover appeal for americans, its just not there. for americans, hes too wooden and scripted.
