Boxing's true hate rivalries

i became instantly sympathetic to morales when Barrera called him a "dumb indian" i know what that feels like and it made me hate barrera forever.

i was actually a MAB fan when i started watching boxing.....the thrid fight i saw all my life was Barrera-Morales 3....and Barrera was always hyped by HBO as the good guy, so when i heard Barrera was robbed in the first fight, i looked it up and downloaded it........to this day i cant see how people think that fight was a robbery, in fact i think morales won either 6 or 7 rounds...and when i saw the way barrera bitched after that, i was kind of disgsted with him......and i was impressed at how many times morales was in the brink of getting KO'ed and kept fighting....so i started looking up at their history and i learnt that morales was really the good guy, arrogant and nasty tempered, but good...

morales is definatly my favprite countryman fighter, ever....

both guys deserve their props in that fight but barrera won it, morales went down in the last, not from a punch but more from fatigue, all the same it should be classed as a knockdown and a 10-8 round for barrera, i believe you are in the minority in thinking morales won.

i know, but i dont see what to ***** about....rounds were very close...

btw morales hit his head with barreras hip......thats why he went down.....

regardless, like i said i had it 114-113 either way... but id efinatly think morales didnt deserve to lose because of an erroneus knockdown call...

your fairly new to the sport, let me explain: if a fighter takes a knee/gets knocked down due to a punch/fatigue/delayed reaction/or to take a breather it is legally called a knockdown, if the ref rules a slip or fighter is pushed/fouled it should not. a very tired morales collided with mab and could not stay upright therefore was CORRECTLY ruled a knockdown

mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm....................ok... more like:

a tired morales ducked down to avoid a right hand, but Mab was turning to his left side and his hip collided with morales' head....

but thats not even that important to me, i just dont think that fight can be classified robbery...
