barrera used to make insulting comments about morales's indian background.

of course barrera had a temper. he ****** punched two different opponents at press conferences and shoved naz head first into the ring post.

barrera actually is the one with an indian background, i recall at least one of his ring walks with a young girl in native indian attire, also read in several reports regarding barreras indian heritage

barrera obviously has indian background, he is mexican......yet...he insults morales for something he has too....

alll the ring walks and stuff is because he is mexican and he likes to bring his heritage, but then he goes and insults fellow mexicans, wich proves the guy is a hypocrit....

i will not accept anyone as fake or a **** who has featured in and provided boxing fans with some of the greatest fights in recent memory (morales 1, mcinney), who has had a fantastic career and will go down as one of the greatest feather/superfeather weights of all time

because he sucker punches people, headbutts and low blows when he is losing, dirty antics in the ring, lies publicly, is a racist, etc.........

i became instantly sympathetic to morales when Barrera called him a "dumb indian" i know what that feels like and it made me hate barrera forever.

i dont think barrera and morales hate each other, barrera is just a **** an morales is just proud, their dislike is more like ali(****) and Frazier(proud).....they just dont mesh together, but i doubt they have trouble sleeping at night thinking about the other guy.....

I think there is real hatred there. I have seen spanish language interviews with Morales that reveal a serious hatred for Barrera, mostly because of MAB's **** talking. I think Barrera has probably moved on (nothing like a tie-breaking win to wash away the hate), but I believe that Morales probably still seethes at the mention of Barrera.

i cant see barrera being either, yeah he slipped up a couple of times by slapping a couple of opponents at press conference but he has had an astounding career and is a credid to the sport.
