Is this what Hatton fanboys, and Mayweather haters hang their hats on? ****ing PPV buys?
I paid my 65 bucks to watch the fight.
And I wasn't disappointed. ****, the money I made off a dummies placing bets on Hatton paid for the fight TEN FOLD.
It was a SUCCESS for both fighters. And it was a success for my wallet.
    So really, who got

      To consider

      850,000. US = $47,000,000.

      900,000, Uk = £13,500,000. = $25,992,900 Divided by 55 = 472,598.

      850,000. + 472,598. = 1,322,598.

1,322,598. is the real PPV Number.

As far as the UFC thing, that's sad that an alleged boxing fan would go to UFC just to take a jab at Mayweather. Pathetic.
There is only one fight in the History of the UFC that made 900,000. PPV

The record for live gate in the UFC is $5,397,300.00

          Boxing Record $ 18,419,200.00

Wouldent worry too much about the UFC.

You cant compare PPV buys from 10-15 years ago because back then a lot less people were capable of getting PPV. Tyson/Holyfield would probably have gotten over 3 million in today's era.

You are comparing BUYS and revenue as the same without considering ratio.. 1 UK is worth 5 US buys.. not .5

                your math is completely flawed..

                900000 =13,500,00 x 2 = 27.000,000 x 4= 114 million USD in PER RATIO

What that is saying.. In a country of equal size with equal currency.. The UK numbers would be worth 114 million in the USA..

                It's a staggering amount..

But the UK numbers Of Buys alone.. are worth almost 4 Million USA buys..

Numbers do not include UK PPV buys, which I heard were astronomical.

Secondly, it was Ricky Hatton's first time on PPV. I'd say doing 850,000 is fantastic.

                      hmmm
                      1£ = $2.0138, 15 x 2.0138 = $30.20
                      54.95 - 30.20 = $24.74
IF the fight cost £15 then it was actually about $25 cheaper,
also price is a VERY valid arguement
                      you are obviously an idiot.
