Prime Forrest beats him...I dont know what the **** is wrong with Vernon, he is/was a very good fighter but his career was very slow, its surprising he has been a pro since 1992, he could have accomplished much more...

And I still cannot believe how the **** did Mayorga beat him, I thought Forrest won the second fight, but Im still confused how Mayorga beat him

he is probably the biggest threat but Cotto deserves the fight with mayweather more just like Hatton deserved it before.

[Answer=DNICE;DTj4] Paul Williams the man no one want's to fight at 147 if the money is right.Paul Williams is not a big name yet but he's well know he beat antonio magarita for the wbo title which makes him the #1 IBF contener, Williams an Centron. centron is the IBFtile champion but when he faces wiliams it a done deal see ya centron.

This comparison is not on target, at all.

Williams is a volume puncher, Forrest was an accurate boxer that relied on more powerful shots. Williams accuracy can be off, his volume CAN make up for it.

Williams moves more, and if a guy can make him miss, he can have a off night. A guy like Mayweather can make him miss. However, a guy like Forrest could really do some work against Mayweather. Forrest would time his shots better, had more power and also would work behind a POWERFUL jab, not a lazy jab.

Furthermore, Mosley is more of a combination puncher, who COULD be known to rely too much on his power. He also sticks to a one dimensional game, from time to time. Mayweather does not. (NOTE: Mosley ISN'T one dimensional, he just tends to stick to a strategy, SOMETIMES, when he shouldn't.) Mayweather can figure a guy out a bit better than Mosley can.

Just.. two different fights, they'd go two different ways.

Furthermore, people act like Mayweather would have trouble with Williams, because he's never fought someone like him. Maybe. But how the hell do you know? You've never seen him with a guy like Williams, either.

P Williams is a threat to anybody at WW. But so is PBFM. It would be 1 hell of a fight! My moneys on Money Mayweather.

              i agree...

i've been believing that paul williams is the biggest threat out there for mayweather... simply because of height...and reach advantage... is williams boxes vs. floyd he has a good chance to win... but if he presses the action vs. Mayweather (if mayweather can reach him with effective blows) i believe Mayweather would win a POT SHOTTIN DECISION or late KO!!! Mayweather is a Boxing BEAST!!!
