    Williams/Mayweather = Forrest/Mosley

Paul Williams is clearly the biggest threat to Mayweather at 147, I really hope Floyd dosen't duck Williams. I think Williams vs Mayweather will be similar to Forrest vs Mosley. Floyd will fare a bit better than Mosley because of his defense and running, but in the end he will get outworked and overwhelmed by the bigger, stronger volume puncher Paul Williams.

I agree but Williams isn't a big name right now. Floyd wouldn't fight him unless there was major mula for him even then his team probably wouldn't let him take the fight because they know how dangerous Williams.

I totally disagree..1st off Williams dont have the same power in his right hand than Forrest does..that was Mosely's main fear when he fought Forrest that straight right..2nd, PBF and Mosely are different..PBF has slick defense and a nice jab, Mosely doesnt truly have a jab and Mosely's defense is his offense. PBF would beat Williams it would be similar to how he beat the late Diego Corrales.

Except Williams won't just be walking in seeing to knock Floyd out thats not what Williams does. Williams will come out with his long ass jab get close throw light powered combination and back to the safety of his 80 inch reach. I honestly don't see how Floyd can win unless he really digs down and fights it out more than he had to dig to beat Hatton.

I really love the Corrales/Williams comparison. Fact is Floyd has never faced anyone like Williams, and if he's smart, likely never will. Paul has an amazing jab, which he can throw for a full 12 rounds. Oscar showed, for the first 7 rounds anyway, how vulnerable Floyd is with his jab.

Floyd knows how talented the WW division is right now and that is partly why he has chosen to fight outside of it for over a year (Hatton, who looked terrible against B-level at best Collazo in his only 147 fight doesn't count.) He'll fight Cotto, who I think he can beat, but he will never fight Williams or Margarito (after he KOs Cintron again.)

will has far less power than forrest. pbf wont have to worry about that at all, as i dont think will hits anywhere near as hard as odlh, but what pbf does have to worry about the is the sheer volume of punches by will, and of sourse his condor like wing span!

              1. Forrest dominated people with a stiff jab that hurt, his stance would never allow a sharmba mitchell to get inside

              2. Forrest hits harder

              3. Forrest isnt some volume puncher, hes a boxer puncher who knocked people the **** out

              4. You have never seen a forrest fight in his prime.

                Interesting point:

Both Williams and Forrest are from Augusta, Georgia...

truthfully, i think forrest would likely beat mayweather in his prime, im dead serious, to me, he was that good, the only time i seen him look not-so-dominant was against tszyu.
