Arum was recently asked about a Guzman fight for Pac. What did he say? "Well, Guzman ran the last six rounds, so I don't think a fight with him will do 350K and I need to do 350K with Pacquiao yadda yadda".

The common refrain in the sport is "if it makes dollars, it makes sense". I didn't create that landscape, but I can navigate on it.

The best fight for Margarito last year was Cotto. Why didn't that fight happen? Instead, they ended up with Williams and Tony lost his ****ty belt anyway.

Why is EVERYBODY near Welterweight now calling out Floyd? Because they see the payday. There's zero downside. You get your biggest payday, and , worst case scenario, you lose to the #1 P4P guy.

Floyd offered Shane a fight. SSM turns it down on national TV saying "my vacation, my tooth". OK Fine. Shane goes to fight Collazo. Who is coming off a loss to a JWW. That fight was in an empty mandalay bay on 'free HBO'.
