Floyd is PRAYING that Cotto loses....

it will justify him not fighting him. First he said judah would beat him,,,then that didnt happen. Then he said "I aint interested in fighting Cotto, Shane gonna beat him anyways"..now that Cotto beat Shane..Floyd wants to retire..for TWO years?? THAT dont even make sense man...

He wants someone to beat Cotto so he dont have to fight him.. and its so OBVIOUS..what funny is how his fanatics try to justify this..

Actually, I think it is the opposite.

I think Floyd would love for Cotto (or anybody else) to distinguish themselves and become a big name so that it becomes another big mainstream fight.

The reality is that if Floyd uncorks a 117-111 on Cotto, people will then say "He needs to fight Williams".

If it were me, I would just allow those guys to fight a defacto weed-out tournament, and then I'd take the winner. That would be beating "the best welterweight". None of the current crop is a legitimate B-side money-wise. Yet.

                Ferocity,

With all due respect, weren't you making a similar call about another recent opponent?

What a bull**** thread. 1st you say Floyd is ducking Cotto. I told you to give it time and now Floyd speaks of fighting him. You come up with this bull****. I'm not knocking you for your opinion, but damn you're biased as hell when it comes to Floyd. You're saying he hopes he loses which I doubt because Floyd vs Cotto has superfight potential. So your opinion is rather pointless.(about Floyd wanting Cotto to lose)

Whats next Floyd ducked Joe Frazier.
