Has anyone followed Juan Diaz's whole career?

I saw on boxrec that he has pretty much overwhelmingly dominated all of his competition...

Except for his 12th fight against Ubaldo Hernandez, who had a record of 15-7-1.

He lost one of the three ballots to win a split decision.

I really can't imagine a dude with a style that doesn't seem to be affected by what his opponent is doing would get figured out by some dude who doesn't have a 75% win record.

Anyone know anything about this fight?

he mustve been sick or something, Juan diaz is amazing. floyd would beat him the same way he beat hatton though, just for those of you that think this would be a good fight.

I'm actually not sure how that fight would go down.

If they were the same weight, I would favor him to beat Mayweather moreso than Cotto and Williams.

Here I thought I was the only crazy one. Obviously if Diaz jumps up in weight, he loses. But if Floyd were forced to make 135 again, and this fight happened in a year or two and Diaz continued to improve, I think Floyd would be weight drained enough to make this close to a pickem. Diaz would have to beat Pac or someone like that for this fight to ever happen, though.

Ive followed all of Diaz career, to tell you the truth. I thought he wouldent amount to much from his first 15 bouts, he had this one fight where he got a close decision and started crying and dident seem like he might get far. ****er sure proved me wrong, started impressing me since his fight with Cotto, hasnt dissapointed since.

There was talk of a fight between Hatton and Diaz about a year ago.

Bam, thats acutally what i thought seeing him come up. I've some of his big fights here and there i've seen him grow. I thought without power he wouln't be able to be champion or go far because fighters would take his punchs and then hurt him but the guy has proved me wrong and he is one hell of a fighter and though he's been down at a young age and early in his career he is a man now and able to take some hell of a punch. It was always amazing to see him throw miliion bombs but when he's doing it against quality opponets it really amazing add to the fact that he's still in college and juan diaz doesn't seem human.
