We'll see how he does against Hopkins, and if he wins, you guys are not gonna give him credit because B-Hop was old and such. Yet you're choosing him to win. Typical biased hate any world-class fighter has to endure.

I'll give Calzaghe his dues for beating Hopkins, if he does. Don't expect the larger amount of boxing fans to be so forgiving though. Fighters get little to no credit for beating aging legends. Did Oscar De La Hoya get an overwhelming reception after beating Chavez? The list goes on and on. But as for me, rest assured I'll give Joe his due.

Beating one aging legend does not permit the title of "All Time Great" in most circles.

Kessler and Eubank are better than most of the guys you have named.

Eubank is up there, but Kessler is not. Kessler is equal to (On Hopkins record) a Howard Eastman, or a Keith Holmes. Not equal to (On Hatton's record) a Kostya Tszyu or a Jose Luis Castillo. The list goes on and on.

I could go dig up the topics where I labelled Kessler as garbage and heavily favored Joe to school him way before the fight, but that's childish tactics.

What he did to Eubank was special. But he didn't live up to his potential, and his power just vanished

I think it speaks very negatively about a fighter when you land 1,000+ punches on someone and fail to knock them out. (Like Calzaghe did to Lacy, and how many did he land on Kessler?)

I'm no fighter but I'm pretty sure it wouldn't take 1,000 of my punches to knock someone out. I'd say the same about most on this forum.

According to any "Top 100" list out there, look it up before you spout ****. Hopkins has made the top 50 cut in every major sports publication of the list from ESPN to "The Ring" Magazine.

His wins over these guys Lacy and Kessler have been blown out of all proportion.

In the first half of 2005, Nobody wanted to see him fight Lacy or Kessler because people expected them to be just easy wins, everyone wanted to see him finally move up to light-heavy for Jones Jr, Tarver, Johnson, Woods etc

Lacy's and Kessler's stoppages over completely shot Reid's and Beyer's (who weren't even very good in the first place) were blown ****ing way out and Calzaghe has thus been grossly overrated
