To you they fight dumb. Why? Because they are come forward, straight forward pressure fighters that throw alot of punches and get hit alot because they are willing to take punches to give punches.

And why do they do this? Because they are strong BUT slower fighters that have an advantage of size and strength. That's how they are using their advantages by closing distance and attempting to run fighters over.

There are plenty of different styles in boxing. You have to use the best one that suites what your physically capable of doing.

You call it dumb. They call it fighting. And I'm more than glad these guys are around because they make for exciting fights.

Williams is bigger than Margarito so he wasn't affected as much as other welterweights. And Shane Mosley used his handspeed plus the fact the he has fought bigger fighters the majority of his career certainly helped as well.

Heading into those fights you make suttle changes but that doesn't change the fact Margarito is most effective coming forward and exchanging. You said that's dumb. I say that's his best chance of winning.
