as simple as I can explain it.

most fans of the sport want to be entertained. For that they want to see sustained action, something that they will remember. When we get it at a high level it makes for truely memorable fights and moments (rd10 of JLC Chico I for example). Even at lower levels (Cordington Bika springs to mind) we remember these types a of fights more simply because it drew us in as whole experience rather than looking out for nuiansces that boxers like Floyd bring to the table

I for one never thought of Floyd as a runner. The man is simply quite adept at making fighters look foolish and save for one fight has really never had a fight in question or jeopardy. Dominance like that can while it can bring fans in can also turn fans off even though it may not be the fighters fault.

guys like Gainer and at times Raheem remind me of runners not Floyd
