are you even serious??? yes it said he thought he broke his hand but the hand is badly bruised. ever break an ankle?? or get a bad sprain?? which hurts more?? bruises and sprains hurt worse than a break. hopefully he will be ready by march but no guarentees and if you did read everything after the initial doctor visit it was not broken but severly bruised. Look i'm not doctor I just know what i read and bottom line is he his hurt. he had a similiar injury with his last trainer and they rushed him to fight margarito and look what happened so at least his new team know not to push it and let it heel and do what's best for the fighter and not just about the money.

I think PBF took a safer fight for the money he generated. His team said it. If it doesn't make dollars it don't make cents. I don't like PBF but I just want to see all of the welters fight eachother and sort it out. I think what will happen is that Cotto will try to unify and then whoever is left between the 3(cotto,williams,cintron) they MIGHT get a shot at PBF. And i hope they do because if they all fight it out they deserve it. PBF does have an ego and if enough people want it we might just get it!!

I am a Cintron Fan and I also questioned his injury publicly the same night of the Feliciano fight. But just like people mention the margarito fight, I remind everyone of Walter Mathesse. Paul beat him. Kermit killed him. Poor Old Walter has not been the same after the Best KO of the 2007.

1) Cotto/Mayweather and Cintron/Williams (what we may posibly see by the end of 2008.)

2) Cotto/Williams winner vs. Mayweather/Cintron winner as a tourney for UNIFICATION.

OK Fine, but if Williams has 3 out of 4 titles(he wouldnt get the ibf cuz cintron is a ho) with wins over cotto and whoever gets the wbc after he drops, every internet boxing geek would clamor for this fight. Besides, you are thinking in terms of today. Maybe between now and then, HBO would really pusy Williams in the lime light. Maybe the williams-cotto fight would be an ATG fight.

No way do I think Floyd should retire, as a fan. I want him to try to unify but if he DOES retire it is what it is. If Paul has 3 of the 4 belts Floyd would jump at the opportunity to Unify the WW division. If he doesn't have the money he will have the BELTS and that is another way to get Floyd in the ring with him. I think Paul's name will increase especially if he has 3 of the belts, but time will only tell.

A boxer dodges a fighter because he can get equal money for a lesser opponent. Like a Roy Jones or even a young De La hoya because they could get paid and not put themselves at any risk. A guy doesn't dodge(and i don't care who you are) a fight that would pay you more than 4 times what you ever got before and risk not getting that fight again. doens't make any sense. Example, why would PBF risk fighting a Cotto or a P Williams or a Cintron or a Margarito(all true welters) when he could get paid the same money and fight a 140 guy moving up.
