I think it was Hamed's loss. At least Hatton was in the fight for a while, Hamed was completely out fought from the opening bell.
Which defeat was worse?

I don't know how anyone says Hatton.
Hatton made it competitive, fought with a lot of heart, while being expected to lose. Went down, but went down fighting.
Hamed was a pretty big favorite, expected to completely kill this fading fighter, and got smoked for an entire 12 rounds. Didn't even have the decency to go for it in the final couple rounds..
Hameds is worse, no doubt about it.Comment

I disagree because floyd is a much greater fighter than Barrera and the only reason hatton got koed is because he really tried to win. Hamed was to preoccupied with not getting koed by Barrera.
Also I would like to add that even though its off the subject of the thread, I believe the manner of Hattons return will tell us alot about him. As Hameds did (disappointing as it was)Comment

You can say Hatton's loss was worse because of the KO, but Barrera's win was better.
He moved up in weight and completley out classed a guy who was considered to have unreal power by standing in the pocket and just out boxing him. No one thought he was capable of doing so either.Comment

And eventhough Hamed didnt get KOed, he got his ass knocked all over the ring on a few occasions especially the last round.
Ricky got knocked into the ring post, Barrera took him and slammed his ass into it. That's when you know you just got made someones *****. Then Hamed reached his hand out, and Barrera said **** that haha...I love that fight.Comment
